Add Your Logo

Adding your own branding elements is easy with Canva. Follow the steps below:

  • Delete our placeholder by hitting Delete on your keyboard or the trashcan icon in the top right corner.

  • Upload your own logo or submark by clicking Upload your own images or simply dragging your file in.

  • Drag your logo onto the page.

  • Resize by selecting one of the corner anchors and dragging inwards. No need to hold shift, Canva maintains your image's proportions by default.

  • Once you're happy with the size, select your logo and position it on the page as you like.

Add Images

To add an image as a background follow the steps below:

  • Upload your image by clicking Upload your own images or simply dragging your file in.

  • Drag your image onto the page.

  • Resize your image as needed.

  • Select your image and position it on the page as you like.

  • If you need to move your image behind other graphics, simply click Arrange in the top right corner and click Back or use the Control/Command + [ shortcut.

Add images to placeholder boxes

In the ebook template, there are a number of placeholder bounding boxes where you can add images. To use these simply upload an image or use an existing image and drag it on to the placeholder. It will automatically crop to fit that area.

Add images to opt in graphics

In many of the blog header and opt in templates there is a preview of your content upgrade. To add the page images to these graphics follow these steps:

  • Zoom in so you can view the template more closely and be more precise. To zoom in use the shortcut Control/Command + {and Control/Command - to zoom out).

  • Select your image and drag it on to the page.

  • Rotate and resize your image so that it fits over top of the white box with the shadow remaining visible.

  • For the right size image, once you are happy with its size and placement, you can send it behind the left image. Select it and use the shortcut Control/Command + [ until it is behind the image and shadow.
