General Troubleshooting Steps

Running into problems with your WordPress site? Here are some standard troubleshooting tips to help you out.

  1. Deactivate ALL plugins and see if the issue is resolved.

  2. Make sure your theme is updated to the latest version. You can check for updates by going to Appearance > Themes in your WordPress dashboard.

  3. Clear your browser cache. Steps on how to clear your browser cache can be found here.

  4. Reset your permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

  5. Activate the default theme “Twenty Sixteen” and see if the problem persists – if so, the issue may be related to something other than the theme.
