Our Story

Entrepreneurship is a journey—sometimes it’s quite a wild ride. Along the way, there are many checkpoints, defining moments and partnerships that propel you forward. We hope that Station Seven is one of those checkpoints for you.

As we’ve been on our own business journey, we, too, have hit some important waypoints. Station Seven started as a website template shop, offering a middle option between default themes or expensive custom sites. Somewhere along the way, we determined that we wanted to serve more business owners like the ones we interact with every day here in Spokane, Washington. The business owners we know are busy. They wear more hats than they can count, and many of them need some accountability and assistance to mark “website” off their to-do lists. In response to that reality, we’ve expanded our team, created templates that serve a wider range of industries, and added services to serve a wider range of budgets. These days, we build our websites in Squarespace because we believe it’s the best tool out there for creating beautiful, user-friendly sites that are easy for people of any skill level to edit and maintain.

Meet the Team

Connor Walsh

Connor is the owner and director of operations of Station Seven. With over a decade of experience working for non-profits and planning large events, Connor applies the same passion for creating positive community experiences to his work building excellent online experiences and providing top-notch service to our clients. He’s the primary contact for all of our clients and manages all of our projects. He loves the process of building things in the physical and digital world, starting from scratch and seeing a project through. When he’s not working, you’ll find him playing golf, running, or watching crime thrillers on TV.

Jacquelyn Barnes

Jacquelyn partners with us as our creative director, bringing together backgrounds in writing, editing, fine art, graphic design, and user experience design to create strategic, beautiful websites. She’s flexed many professional and creative muscles working with a wide range of clients, including Visit Spokane, the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, the Alliance for Media Arts + Culture, and the United Soccer League. The best part about working with a range of industries, she says, is that you’re always learning about something new. When she’s not working, she’s likely to be hitting the trails with her White Swiss Shepherd Marlowe or cooking up some colorful, plant-based food.

Abigail Hudson

Abby is our graphic designer and social media guru. She’s a graduate of Whitworth University’s graphic design program and is pursuing her Masters in Business Leadership. As a collegiate athlete (playing volleyball and basketball), she served as the social media manager for Whitworth’s Athletics Department. With her natural ability to generate unique ideas, she pursued design so she could put her skills to work bringing your vision to life. She likes designing for social media in particular because that’s where online communication is most playful and authentic. When she’s not working, she loves to take her artistic abilities offline and indulge in some old-fashioned crafting.
