Haskins Steel Company
Custom Website, Branding
Partnering with Greg, Travis, and Bryce at Haskins Steel Company was a transformative experience. Their previous website, built in the late 1990s, had become severely outdated and no longer reflected the company’s reputation for quality and innovation in the steel industry. The site’s obsolete design and functionality were not just a cosmetic issue; they were a barrier to effectively showcasing their products and services to potential customers.
From the outset, it was clear that Haskins Steel needed a comprehensive overhaul to bring their online presence into the modern era. We started by addressing the need for fresh, high-quality visuals. To capture the essence of Haskins Steel's products and services, we collaborated with Chris Gray from Momentum Studios, a local photographer and videographer known for his ability to convey industrial strength and precision through his lens. Chris's work provided a stunning visual foundation for the new site, allowing us to highlight Haskins Steel’s offerings in a way that was both powerful and professional.
“Our website was outdated and almost unusable. It was something we avoided using with our customers and didn't promote in the slightest. Our goal was to create something new and exciting. We wanted to have resources for our customers to use and something we were excited to share. Station Seven exceeded all expectations in making that goal happen.”
But the project was about more than just aesthetics; it was also about revitalizing the brand itself. The old logo, a relic of the early digital age with its diagonal 3D PowerPoint WordArt style, was not only visually outdated but also impractical for use across various mediums, from merchandise to truck signage. We embarked on a brand update that respected the legacy of the original logo while modernizing it for today’s market. The new logo retained the iconic steel beam as its focal point but introduced a sleeker, more versatile design that could be seamlessly applied across all branding materials.
In addition to the visual and branding updates, we took on the task of reimagining the site’s content. We provided comprehensive copywriting services, crafting clear and compelling text that effectively communicated Haskins Steel’s strengths, values, and offerings. This was a ground-up project in every sense, with each element—design, photography, videography, branding, and copywriting—carefully considered and executed to build a cohesive, modern online presence.
The result was a complete transformation of Haskins Steel’s digital identity. The new website not only reflects the company’s commitment to quality and innovation but also serves as a powerful tool for attracting and engaging prospective customers. The team at Haskins Steel now has a site they can proudly showcase, confident that it represents the true caliber of their work.
“Station Seven designed a couple of different logo options for us. All of these options were designed beautifully and showed clear understanding of the direction it needed to go. We appreciated the forward thinking when it came to that design, and how those details play a factor in all aspects of how our logo was portrayed.”
