How to Duplicate Your Squarespace Site

Duplicating your website is relatively a simple process. Begin by logging in to your Squarespace account. Once you are at your main Squarespace Account Dashboard, click … on the site you wish to duplicate. Select Duplicate Website within the available options.

Your Squarespace account will generate a copy of your website, but this process may take a few moments (especially if your website contains a lot of content) so be patient.

Customizing Your Duplicated Site

While this Squarespace feature is an incredible time saver, there are still some steps that will need to be completed on your end. Double check that all of your content such as images and file uploads have been transferred over. Your color settings under your site styles will also need some revisions, so review your Colors panel to finalize everything and make sure your duplicate is a true copy of your original version.
